“We were looking to create a supplementary Jewish education class that would account for children with learning differences. We wanted a place that would provide multi-sensory learning opportunities while still providing a therapeutically engaging environment. We wanted religious and cultural instruction where each child could feel successful. We wanted a place where our children could effectively assimilate and integrate Jewish content. We wanted kids with learning differences to have a place where they could fully connect to their heritage and feel like they truly belong. Luckily, Chabad of Skokie Hebrew School has teamed up with Leep Forward to provide an excellent class for kids with learning differences. Every week, we can’t wait for Morah Shaina’s class! Thanks to the efforts of Lorell Marrin, Amanda Desangeles, Rochel Telsner and Sheina Goldberg, these kids have an awesome program where they are flourishing.”
From the moment we walked through the doors at Leep Forward, we knew that we had entered a very special and sacred space. Lorell and her staff are deeply committed to the development and growth of each of their children. Our twin boys treasure every moment they spend with Lorell and this is reflected in the phenomenal progress they have made over the last two years.”
Lorell is highly competent, creative, energetic therapist who puts the needs of the children she serves first and foremost. She has helped many children climb the developmental ladder and has supported many families. Lorell is a pleasure to work with and is a wonderful team member.”
Lorell has been fabulous with Dylan. From the first day she walked in when we were using Early Intervention services we knew that she had a special skill in healing kids with autism. Today she helps us navigate RDI as a therapeutic model and Dylan continues to make advances. They say Autism is a puzzle, with Lorell on our side we know where one piece fits.
