For the NPDDF, we have gathered the best and brightest thought leaders in the areas of autism, sensory processing and executive functioning to speak on research and interventions happening in these fields today. Our aspiration is that this forum will better educate and train all professionals committed to helping families of children with developmental differences. We also want to inform parents, doctors and insurance companies on the efficacy and long lasting results of relationship-based therapies, like the DIR Model.
In order to ensure that this inaugural event is a success and that our expenses are covered, we are seeking donations from those who are able. These funds will only be used for this event. Therefore, we are reaching out to our families to let them know about the NPDDF and see if you would be willing to contribute.
We are grateful and excited that one of our LEEP families has kicked off the sponsorship program by donating $2,500 for the event. This family welcomes other LEEP families to join them and be listed as “LEEP Forward Family and Friends” in our official program guide and on the website.
Wishing to be anonymous, the family said, “We are excited to support the National Pediatric Developmental Differences Forum because it advocates for families like ours, raises awareness and helps educate and advocate to insurance companies. We hope LEEP Forward Family and Friends becomes one of the largest sponsors of the forum. We encourage everyone to contribute. Any amount is welcome.”
The NPDDF is also seeking donations for corporate sponsors. If you own a company that could benefit from this sponsorship or know of one that can, please let us know.
Please join us in the crusade! If you would like to help sponsor the event or have a lead for a corporate sponsor, please let us know by emailing Lorell at Lorell@leepforward.com.
